The mission of the Yachting Union
of Lithuania (LBS) is - to popularize the Sailing in Lithuania and Abroad.
LBS is acting in accordance with Programs of Sport and Cruising Sailing Development.
In that respect LBS performs organizational, creative and practical work towards
flourishing of Sailing in Lithuania.
By prosecution of Sport Sailing
Development Program, sailors-sportsmen are trained. All amount of Membership
fee the Members of Yachting Union of Lithuania are paying, is dedicated to
cover Membership Fees of International Sailing Associations in order to create
an Opportunity for young sportsmen to participate in Championships organized
on International level. Since majority of members of Yachting Union of Lithuania
are Cruising sailors, LBS Membership Fee Payment became as human act of Honoree.
Membership Fees paid by Yachting
Union of Lithuania differs year by year and depends on number of Sportsmen
that participate on International level, Currency Rate at the moment of payment
and Bank Account Fee of Money Transfer. For that reason and taking into account
that Membership Fees of Yachting Union of Lithuania are differentiated between
youngsters, adults, retired people and depends on overall number of Members,
Membership Fee of Yachting Union of Lithuania recalculates each year.
For example, amount of money, paid by Yachting Union of Lithuania to International Organizations in year 2004 was equal to 6'301.16 Litas (or 1'826.42 EUR). Fees paid:
