Conditions
for participants:
1. Participants should have own yachts with the crew.
2. Boat measurement rules - Danish Handicap 2004 (DH2004). It is possible
to acquire certificate of measurement in Klaipeda before the race on the day
of registration. Price - 35 EUR.
3. Entry fee - 12 EUR/person (data from last year - it might slightly change
this year, but not significantly).
4. Stay at Klaipeda and Nida harbor for participants is free of charge during
the stay of the fleet.
5. Necessary documents: 1) valid boat documents; 2) crew passports; 3) DH2004
measure certificate (not necessary for "Family group" - see further);
4) safety equipment on board; 5) any valid certificates of competence (for
captains).
Distance. One race of 100
nautical miles long. Four races between 30 and 50 nautical miles. Start in
Klaipeda and finish in Nida with award ceremony after final leg. Legs are
different for different kind of boats - slow boats have shortened legs. Length
of legs might be changed before the race.
Miscellaneous. Maximum recommended
draft for boats - 2 meters (because Lagoon is shallow, but bottom is sandy
so far it is safe to touch in accident). Maximum mast high is 20 meters. Local
see-map will be available at the Klaipeda harbor before the race (10-15 EUR).
Usually boats between 24 and 36 foots take place in regatta, but there is
no restrictions on boat's length.

2007.08.02 - registration and measurement assessments.
2007.08.03 - First leg - Klaipeda-Palanga-Klaipeda.
2007.08.04 - Second leg Klaipeda - Nida - Russian part of Lagoon - Nida.
2007.08.05 - resting day.
2007.08.06 - Third leg - (triangle).
2007.08.07 - Fourth leg - (triangle).
2007.08.08 - resting day.
2007.08.10 - Fifth leg - 50 nautical miles distance with finish in Nida. Award
ceremony and final party.
The crews must have one youth older
than 15 years. Despite it is a sport mastery regatta family crews are welcome
to "Family group", where any boat can participate with "participant"
status, but out of competition (DH2004 is not mandatory). Family group participants
must have proof, that crew members consist from at least one family (father,
mother and kids).
